***DAILY DO'S - TUESDAY 6PM EDITION ***
Your efforts have paid off. Several of the hearings have postponed to next week and beyond. This is really going to help keep the focus on the remaining nominees.
1. Tomorrow is the president-elect's first press conference in six months. He's going to use this to draw attention away from Rex Tilllerson and the other nominees. Commit to keeping the focus on Tillerson and the other nominees. Avoid retweeting the pres-elect's inevitable flurry of garbage and sharing news articles that take away focus from the real issues.
2. Write a thank you to the staff or politicians who've been helping out with this week's nominations process. Tweet Cory Booker, email Patty Murray's staff, or drop a snail mail letter to Pramila. They need to know that we appreciate everything they do.
3. I've shared a few resources on the confirmation process and others have been speeding through in other posts. Take a moment to share what information and resources have been most helpful to you. We'll collect them and share them later this week.
