Comment and ‘Like’ to get this out there. It really helps! TODAY… Trumpcare. Or as I like to call it, Oh Hell No. The ACA repeal will reportedly be up for a vote around 10:30AM Pacific time. Republicans might have the votes. It’s a nail biter. But we’re not going to sit around biting our nails. What happens now is critical, and what you do after the vote is as important as what you do before it.

1. WHAT TO DO RIGHT NOW
Indivisible Guide has an excellent and updated calling script for contacting your US Rep today. Represented by a Democrat? They have a (worthwhile) script for you. These folks know what they’re doing! Post in comments to tell us who your Rep is and the staffer’s response. Can’t get through? Try the US House general line (202-559-7201) or take to the Twitter.

Tweet --> For example, “@davereichert #voteNOAHCA#saveaffordablecareact”

2. WHAT TO DO AFTER THE VOTE
If this thing comes to a vote and passes the House, what comes next is being called a test of the resistance. If people are on fire, this thing is far less likely to make it through the Senate. Let’s be on fire. And here’s how.
If at all possible, get out there TODAY. Go to your Rep or Senator’s local office and bring your friends. Has someone in your local area already planned one? Very likely. Find it and go to it. Post events in the comments.
Can’t go? Call. Call your Rep who just voted. Call our Senators. Voice your displeasure. Yes, it feels like throwing pebbles at a brick wall. But together we have the power to be 1,000 truckloads of pebbles. Remember the early days of this administration when people flooded the streets and the phones over changes to the Congressional ethics office? The immigration ban? The last ACA repeal? This is another one of those moments. We can’t go all-out every day, but we can go all-out today. Go in peace.
